How N.E.M.T. Medical Mobility protects you
Our MV-1 vehicles are sanitized between every trip using hospital-grade disinfectants. Drivers follow CDC infection-control protocols — masks available on request, hand sanitizer provided, and high-touch surfaces wiped after each ride. Your health is our priority from curb to curb.
Our Military Tactical Fleet
Why We Use Only the MV-1 — Military Tactical Builder by American Motor
Most NEMT providers convert standard vans into accessible vehicles — cutting floors, welding ramps, and retrofitting interiors never designed for mobility. The result is a compromise. At N.E.M.T. Medical Mobility, we refuse to compromise.
The MV-1 by American Motor Specialists is the only vehicle in America engineered from the ground up as a purpose-built ADA mobility transport. It starts as a military tactical platform — the same rugged architecture trusted by the U.S. armed forces — and is then precision-built for wheelchair and ambulette transport. No conversions. No afterthoughts. Just a vehicle built to do one thing exceptionally well.
Book Your Ride TodayWhy a Military Tactical Builder Changes Everything for ADA Mobility
The difference between a converted van and a purpose-built military tactical vehicle is the difference between a workaround and a solution.
Built From the Ground Up for ADA
Unlike converted vans that start as cargo or passenger vehicles, the MV-1 was engineered from day one for full ADA compliance. The floor height, door width, interior dimensions, and ramp angle were all designed around wheelchair users — not retrofitted after the fact.
Military-Grade Durability
The MV-1 is built on a military tactical platform — the same rugged architecture used in demanding field conditions. Colorado winters, mountain terrain, and high-altitude driving are no match for a vehicle engineered to military specifications.
No Ramp Lift Required
The MV-1 features a built-in integrated ramp — not a hydraulic lift bolted on later. This means faster boarding, fewer mechanical failure points, and a smoother, more dignified experience for every passenger.
Widest Door Opening in Its Class
The MV-1 offers the widest side-entry door opening of any purpose-built NEMT vehicle — wide enough for power wheelchairs, bariatric chairs, and complex mobility devices without the tight maneuvering of a converted van.
Designed for Bariatric & Power Chairs
The MV-1's floor structure and tie-down system are engineered to handle heavy power wheelchairs and bariatric mobility devices. The weight ratings and securement points are factory-built — not aftermarket additions.
Passenger Dignity & Comfort
Because the MV-1 was designed around the passenger — not around a cargo van — the interior offers full standing headroom, climate control, and a smooth ride. Patients arrive at appointments comfortable, not exhausted from a cramped conversion.
"Been in Business Since 2000 — Always the MV-1"
For over 25 years, N.E.M.T. Medical Mobility has trusted only the American Motor MV-1 for our fleet. When your health and safety depend on the vehicle, there is no substitute for purpose-built military tactical engineering.

Meet the Owner
Riyadh Jamil Derani
Founder & Owner · N.E.M.T. Medical Mobility · Born and Raised in Morrison, CO
Born and raised in Morrison, Colorado — the gateway to Red Rocks — Riyadh Jamil Derani graduated from Bear Creek High School, Class of 1994. Growing up surrounded by the thunder of NHRA jet-powered funny cars at Bandimere Speedway, he discovered early that a life well lived is one spent in motion — and in service to others. That same spirit carried him into aviation, where he earned his avionics and electrical engineering degree from Colorado Aero Tech, Boulder, CO — a testament to his relentless pursuit of excellence.
That passion led him to make history — founding Colorado's first limousine company straight out of high school, launching operations at Red Rocks Amphitheatre, and going on to become the first limousine operator at Denver International Airport on opening day. When DIA opened its doors to the world, Riyadh was already there — ready. In 2000, he channeled that same drive into founding N.E.M.T. Medical Mobility.
A ASE-certified technician in Structrak repair welding, refinishing, and plastics, Riyadh brings hands-on mechanical expertise to every vehicle in the N.E.M.T. fleet — ensuring every ride is safe, maintained, and road-ready.
He then turned that same dedication to a higher calling — founding N.E.M.T. Medical Mobility in 2000, because he believes accessible transportation is not a luxury. It is a vital lifeline in our community — connecting patients to the care they need, with dignity and dependability.
Our specialized vehicles are purpose-built to transport disabled, ambulatory, and convalescent passengers across the full range of non-emergency medical visits — including hospital surgery, plastic surgery, acute discharge, dialysis, rehabilitation, senior and retirement events, and outpatient doctor appointments. Wheelchair and stretcher transport are available for every level of need. N.E.M.T. is committed to transforming the outpatient experience through patient-centered care.
With an Associate's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from Colorado Aero Tech (1996–2000), Riyadh brings a builder's precision to every operation. Our staff maintain advanced training biannually, and PPE is mandatory at all times during transport — because your safety is never optional.
By his side — on and off duty — is Fenix, his Doberman and trusted partner in loss prevention. Loyal, sharp, and always on watch, Fenix is as much a part of the N.E.M.T. family as the mission itself.
